Sustainable Innovation
Choksi Heraeus is committed to reduce its CO2 emissions by photovoltaic systems at its headquarter in Udaipur generating approx. 80% of the required energy. An off-site solar park is currently planned in Rajasthan which will additionally deliver 1.1 MW electricity by 2025.
Our decarbonization roadmap is ambitious. We want Choksi Heraeus to be carbon neutral by 2025 and achieve a net zero greenhouse gas emission by 2033.
The Processing of precious metals requires high energy consumption. Choksi Heraeus has already made efforts to reduce the electrical energy consumption by 13% through the installation of LED lights ,optimization of furnace temperatures and regulating motor speeds at ideal state. We will continue our efforts to increase our energy efficiency and reduce our CO2 footprint at Choksi Heraeus. Besides these accomplishments, we take our responsibility seriously and strive to make the world a better place.
